North Carolina rules

Titles, disposal, and the rules that matter in North Carolina

Boats: titling and registration run through the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission. If you do not have the title, there is a release or abandoned-vessel process and we prepare it with you before pickup. Common waters: Lake Norman, the Outer Banks, Jordan Lake and the Cape Fear River.

RVs, campers, and vehicles: untitled or abandoned units go through the North Carolina DMV. We tell you exactly what to sign so the unit can legally leave your property, and you get documentation.

Disposal: Wake and Mecklenburg county facilities have strict item bans that we sort for before arrival. Hazardous materials such as paint, solvents, chemicals, and asbestos go through your county's household hazardous waste program, not through us. Everything else is sorted for donation and recycling first.
